Underfoot, the oak floors give way to chequered green and white tiles, inviting patterns to play into the mix.

What happens when a holiday state of mind seeps into a home? Designed as a tribute to the clients’ wanderlust, this urban apartment immerses minimalism in pastel hues of greens, sandy beige, and blues. Underfoot, the oak floors give way to chequered green and white tiles, inviting patterns to play into the mix.
The public areas of the home are knotted by a shared design twine. They are easeful spaces helmed by muted colours, natural finishes, and an articulate manipulation of daylight. The dining area’s walls are sheathed in a monochrome botanical wallpaper, mimicking a countryside view.
This play of bold imagery contrasted by a homogeneously hued shell continues in the nursery, where a vivid jungle scape flickers to life. The bedrooms take a page from the luxe yet grounded resting spaces the clients have inhabited during their global escapades, creating sanctuaries of repose.
