Sprawling across three levels, this multigenerational residence strikes a delicate equilibrium between pared-down expression and warmth. The tactility of oak, concrete, terrazzo, and gilded accents weaves a narrative of grounded luxury while a keen attention to detail accentuates the home’s personality.
The villa’s varying interplay of ceiling heights, a former limitation, was reinterpreted as a design feature. This articulate manoeuvre utilises the morphing internal volumes to create spatial bookmarks, demarcating various zones.
In the communal spaces, there is a dialogue between defined doses of hue, untainted materiality, and light in transfiguring cameos. The kitchen takes on a modernist identity, its use of sage and speckled terrazzo creating impact at the eye level. In the bedrooms, an earthy elegance comes undone with colour in warm tones, nature-inspired imagery, and materials celebrated in their native glory. The design prioritises open, fluid spaces that flow effortlessly, unified to elevate both functionality and visual harmony.
