About the Project
An industrial-style home welcomes colour and vibrancy with open arms in this apartment, manifesting as a crossover between the client’s roots in India and Spain.
The entryway is a slender passageway punctuated by a gallery wall and console with curated prints and a Kilim-style runner. Held within the embrace of Crittall-style partition systems, the home office anchors concrete walls and a live-edge desk under the fluted wood ceiling, underpinning the lyrical juxtaposition of textures. Defined by concrete walls and Mediterranean hues, the formal entertaining area is anchored by a suspended shelving unit for memorabilia. The balcony is designed with wood beams and concrete-finish walls, complemented by minimal furniture and planters.
A red brick feature wall sets the tone for the dining area, where a live-edge table, faux leather chairs, and a rustic wood log pendant come together in an industrial mix. Spanish-style blue and white tiles and deep teal cabinets spearhead the kitchen’s palette. The signature style emphasizes nuanced material use, abundant natural light, and carefully curated visual vignettes.
