About the Project
This apartment’s communal spaces are revisited from a modernist gaze with warmth and colour playing protagonists. The blueprint’s deep, rectilinear expanse is devised to anchor visual cohesion and host versatile functions with Mid-Century design defining the grammar.
A grey board-and-batten wall earmarks the foyer, setting the tone for a woven cane and white console, off-centre gilded mirror, and sculptural lighting. A picture window focuses on lush tree canopies, framing the living area. A monochrome rug grounds the tan sofa and olive armchairs, while a Kilim bench and brass accents add depth and warmth. The dining space, wrapped in taupe grasscloth, centres around a live-edge table, rattan-leather chairs, and a branched chandelier, seamlessly extending to a terrace that merges indoors with the outdoors.
The lounge harbours gravitas with its olive wall, its expanse peppered by a vibrant art installation. The custom sectional rests upon the rug, making it the perfect spot for family movie marathons!
