About the Project
The memory of a cherished plantation abode followed the homeowners of this city penthouse into the buzzing neighbourhood of Cooke Town. A biophilic design with natural wood, green views, and modern industrial touches helms this residence, creating a quiet haven for the lawyer couple.
Combining materials such as marble, wood, and natural stones, complemented by the thoughtful use of colour and pattern, achieves a harmonious visual appeal. A red brick-clad wall, wood-lined ceilings, and expansive fenestrations enveloping the space lend the living experience a cottage-esque milieu. At the same time, a pattern-speckled verandah enwraps the home’s periphery.
Championing a proudly Indian palette of materiality and vivid hues, the bedrooms script vignettes that belong in a plantation-style home — a mood board of vibrant patterns, tactile textures, and gauzy linens comprising the visuals.
