A gut renovation transforms the bones of this apartment in Old Bangalore’s heart into a Victorian townhouse with a modern pulse. The home’s narrow entry passage is steeped in drama, its length stamped by harlequin floors.
A marble-clad faux fireplace is the living’s visual epicentre, the conversation space scripted in a tufted grey sofa, cane-leather armchairs, and spilt coffee tables coming alive around the focal vignette. Under the artisanal glass chandelier’s glow, an oval table and emerald chairs form the dining space, flanked by a mirrored cabinet. A marble backsplash and soft grey cabinets grace the kitchen, and a marble-top work table introduces elevated function.
A scalloped blush headboard flanked by black nightstands defines the resting space in the master suite, with a partitioned walk‑in closet tucked neatly beside it. The master bath is white marble, finished with gold fixtures and a sleek vanity. The nursery is softened with a floral mural, a crib, and a pragmatic chest of drawers, while the bathroom surprises with green hex tiles and a two-toned door detail.
