About the Project
Influences from their sojourn in London and downtown Bangalore distil themselves into elements of this 30-year-old residence’s capacious expanse — a Victorian Townhouse mood board brought to fruition.
Notable civil iterations at the site included sprucing up the stairwell, fusing the living and dining area’s expanse, and expanding the kitchen and master bath. With grey meandering through the home’s communal core, accents of teal, wood tones, and subtle patterned motifs make a graceful cameo. Flanking the terrace, the family lounge and library don a suave identity, its warm grey bookshelves posing as a backdrop to the reading nook.
A sea of patterned tiles meets the enduring presence of grey-washed cabinets, with a mobile prep cart inhabiting the kitchen’s nucleus. The old and new converse in the dining area, with neutrals and wood creating an engaging ambience, and traditional Pichwai artwork gazing over the space.
