About the Project
Nestled within Kumara Park’s neighbourhood, the Weespaces Office embodies a much-awaited chapter of homecoming — the dedicated headquarters from within which spaces are dreamt up! A Scandinavian colour palette meets Japanese Wabi-sabi and vintage influences, resulting in interiors that feel both grounded and nostalgic.
The office is created within the shell of a former residence, its unassuming warm grey façade hosting a flurry of hues within. A sprightly door in yellow, the firm’s signature colour, leads into the space’s core — botanical prints, an antique bench, and a celebrated projects gallery wall script one’s welcome into the studio.
The team’s workstation bay features a slender wood table, a diaphanous Akari pendant luminaire, and a shelving system featuring memorabilia. A bright meeting room peeled off the layout is headlined by bold monochrome furniture, gauzy valances, and statement art centred around the veined red marble table.
Draped in dusty blue, the Principal’s room is a minimalist rendition of her eclectic, timeless design sensibilities — complete with a walnut live-edge desk, cane chair, and vibrant wool dhurrie. Every corner mirrors the firm’s signature sensibility and commitment to story-driven design, creating a deeply personal and purposeful environment.
